Senior Accountant

A client of ours is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join its on‑site accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is seeking broad exposure to private‑company accounting, multi‑entity operations, and long‑term career advancement. The position reports directly to the CFO and offers a clear growth path toward senior finance leadership as part of long-term succession planning.

• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes for multiple entities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure proper recordkeeping
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
• Handle intercompany accounting and allocations
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses
• Assist with audit, tax, and compliance activities
• Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the CFO

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of accounting experience (public or private)
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Strong Excel skills; ERP or construction‑industry systems a plus
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and assume increasing responsibility
• Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset
