As a Security Officer – Healthcare Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Clairton, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide outstanding customer service while responding to various situations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with onsite personnel to support the security-related needs of the healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must provide proof of required vaccines for hospital assignments.
  • Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue environments.
  • Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
