Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (within the last 3 years)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact state

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field

• Preferred: 2 years of recent ICU experience

• Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, CCRN certification, dialysis or SLED experience
ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and perform advanced nursing procedures

• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes

• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
