Position: CNC Machinist III
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $35 - $44 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time | Day Shift
Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday:
Overtime as needed

Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision machined components, specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, and CAD design. We also support complex steel fabrication through affiliated companies. We are expanding and seeking skilled professionals who are passionate about precision manufacturing and teamwork.
What You'll Do:
- Develop manufacturing plans based on drawing specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and production work instructions
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, and sinker EDM
- Set up tooling and fixtures; load machines and set offsets (X, Y, Z)
- Read, understand, and adjust G & M code
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
- Measure and inspect parts throughout production using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools
- Maintain tolerances of +/-.001
- Inspect finished parts to ensure drawing compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- 5+ years of complex machining experience
- Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools, controls, tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Strong understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Strong machine shop math skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to comply with all company safety guidelines
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to hold tight tolerances of +/-.001
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Exemplary attendance and safety record
- Must be a top performer or possess a unique machining skillset
- Experience with complex steel fabrication environments
- Experience mentoring or sharing technical expertise with others
