We are looking for a Regional Digital Technical Sales Specialist who will provide direct support to the North America region, while being based in Mexico. This role plays a key part in driving the digital transformation of our service solutions and offerings, helping elevate productivity, availability, and sustainability for our customers.

In this position, you will help accelerate GEA's digital strategy by promoting and implementing advanced digital and automation solutions across our North American customers. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, proven experience generating leads, and a track record in selling and implementing digital/automation service solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Build & qualify pipeline:
Partner with Frontline Sales to identify and qualify leads, dive into customer requirements, and shape tailored sales strategies informed by market intelligence.
Market & installed-base planning:
Analyze the regional installed base, segment customers, and develop regional business plans; maintain territory plans and run regular status reviews and reports to stakeholders.
Solutioning & proposals:
Define scopes/architectures and pricing; develop comprehensive, compliant proposals addressing technical, commercial, and legal aspects.
Deal execution:
Support bid clarifications and contract negotiations to ensure a smooth and successful close.
Pilots & co-development:
Work with GEA Digital Units and Core Technology Centers to identify pilot customers, lead co-development projects, and scale proven solutions.
Customer engagement:
Plan and deliver site visits, presentations, and demos; present solutions to customers and status updates to internal stakeholders.
Product expertise & enablement:
Act as the regional NPE Digital Products Sales Specialist; champion digitalization via the GEA Academy; participate in Core Technology Centers (Competence Centre) training and serve as a regional trainer for local Service Sales organizations.
Strategic relationship leadership:
Serve as a trusted advisor and foster long-term relationships with a strong customer-centric, growth-mindset approach.
Cross-functional orchestration:
Align with Core Technology Centers, Product Management, Regional Service Heads, and New Machine Sales and Service Sales teams to ensure process knowledge and customer access.
What you will need to succeed
Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of lead generation and new client acquisition through digital/automation product channels.
Analytical mindset by analyzing the relevant installed base in the region utilizing existing tools and resources and developing regional business plans including market potential, customer segmentation, and execution of actions to grow digital/automation product sales.
Hands-on experience developing and implementing digital/automation service solutions, processes, and workflows that support customer value streams.
Deep understanding of industrial processes and engineering environments.
A strong collaborative mindset to partner with local Sales Teams across AMERICAS and global organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Profile &

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher Automation/electrical/mechanical/chemical/food engineering.
High proficiency in English (C1) is mandatory.
Profound business understanding
Knowledge of B2B industries and preferably the dairy and food processing industry
Drying and Filtration sales expertise.
Automation products sales expertise.
Process knowledge
Strong interest in digital products
Management level sales and negotiation skills
Trusted advisor
Ability to work in an international environment and/or culturally diverse teams with strong people orientation
Availability to travel
