Territory Salesperson

• Drive profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts through regular contact with dental offices within a defined territory.
• Target territory includes Modesto, Stockton, CA, and surrounding areas.
• Build a “practice partner” mentality with doctors and staff by analyzing business needs, presenting benefits of equipment and technology solutions, coordinating product demonstrations, explaining ROI and tax advantages, and discussing industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity.
• Other duties related to the Territory Sales Representative position as assigned.

• Develop a “practice partner” mentality with doctors and staff.
• Be well-versed on Patterson products, services, and industry information.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity.
• Other duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field and 3‑5 years of B2B outside sales experience (or equivalent education/experience).
• Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

This position is paid on a commission basis.
