- Conduct "business to business" sales calls on manufacturing and food processing facilities throughout the region for parts, service and service agreements.
- This is an introductory role into the compressor industry focusing on the Mechanical contracting business.
- Provide customer service, sales, and technical support to the sales force and customers.
- Promote and encourage "Profit Management" to ensure a profitable future for the company.
- Understand and implement policy to achieve both customer and company goals.
- Work closely with sales, fabrication, and vendors to facilitate the sales effort and meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, and other pertinent data.
- Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs and cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements.
- Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems.
- Notify inside and outside staff of new products and processes as needed.
- Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints and failures.
- Maintain organization of order files, monitor in-house orders and assist sales and fabrication with project-related questions.
- Applicants must have 1+ years’ experience with air compressor service or sales or other sales (e.g., automotive, heavy equipment, rental yard, industrial supplies).
- Must be able to work independently to achieve targeted results.
- Well-organized and self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Project management experience and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
Pay range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (DOE) + Commissions and bonus opportunities.

Training will be provided.
Shift Time:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm.
Travel:
Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
Education:
College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
