Assistant Manager – Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar

Join Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar as an Assistant Manager. You will engage in all aspects of day‑to‑day restaurant operations, leading guests and staff to a passionate experience every day.

• Ensure timely, friendly service that meets company guidelines and unit objectives.
• Cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee’s core values and beliefs.
• Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints.
• Prioritize guest contact with required table visits as established by Flynn Applebee’s standards.
• Maintain departmental inventory levels and product preparation standards.
• Schedules employees to meet sales demands while maintaining safety and security programs.
• Promote restaurant organization, cleanliness, sanitation, and routine maintenance.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees using performance documentation and One‑on‑One meetings.
• Document and address employee performance issues, including disciplinary actions.
• Control departmental cost and assure compliance with company policies and local, state and federal laws.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork and complete bi‑weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories.
• Model management standards, provide technology proficiency, and develop self‑growth through continuous learning.
• Support flexible team member responsibilities across all restaurant positions as needed.

• At least 2‑3 years restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, stress management, and team leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Applebee’s Assistant Managers earn $20.98 to $27.27 per hour (approximately $60,000 to $78,000 annually based on a 50‑hour work week). Potential for monthly bonus, where applicable by location.

• Work various shifts ranging in hours, including weekends.
• Stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length.
• Safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
• Read and write for communication; possess finger and hand dexterity for small tools.
