Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
What You'll Do- Lead and manage all aspects of CPS HR’s Training Center operations, including program development, delivery, and business development.
- Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets that achieve organizational and financial goals.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of trainers, coaches, consultants and staff, providing clear direction, support, and performance feedback.
- Design and deliver innovative, forward-thinking training modalities, such as hybrid learning, microlearning, and eLearning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships, positioning CPS HR as a thought leader in public sector workforce development.
- Monitor and align training offerings with current and emerging trends in adult learning and public sector needs.
- Write, review and oversee proposals based on formal and informal requests for services, including budgets for training programs and contract documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize the organization’s impact across the public sector.
Occasional (up to 5%) for client meetings, training sessions, or events.
What Success Looks Like- Effective management of training programs, staff, and consultants with high client satisfaction.
- Achievement of annual financial and growth goals for the Training Center.
- Recognition as an innovator and trusted advisor in public sector training.
- Expansion of CPS HR’s training offerings in response to client needs and industry trends.
- Development of measurable and impactful workforce development initiatives for clients.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of progressive HR or training experience; OR
- Master’s degree plus four (4) years of experience.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory or project management role.
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in adult learning theory, workforce development, and organizational development strategies.
- Strong business acumen in budget development, cost estimation, and business operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power
BI, virtual collaboration tools, and learning management systems. - Experience with project management principles, public and private sector HR practices, and managing instructional teams.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing training initiatives for public agencies.
- Project management certification.
- A mix of public and private sector experience.
- Budget development and consultant management experience.
