We are actively seeking talented Electrical Engineers focused on Renewables projects who would be excited to join a national, employee‑owned, engineering consultancy of high regard. Working on some of the industry’s more exciting renewable energy engineering projects, the Electrical Engineer(s) will be part of an established and well‑invested practice focused regionally on California.

• The primary focus of the role is detailed electrical system design for solar, BESS and EV charging projects.
• You will be responsible for the development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one‑line diagrams.
• The position includes reviewing design documents and equipment submittals, performing QA/QC, and conducting or overseeing power system studies (e.g., short circuit, thermal ampacity, load flow, etc.).

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 4 years experience in practical engineering and familiarity with the National Electrical Code
• In-depth expertise in complex systems, transient studies, and power analysis
• Focus on utility scale solar PV design, energy storage, microgrid and power system studies
• Proficiency in the following tools:
  AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP‑RV, and AGI
  32;
  Python/MATLAB programming
• Natural collaboration skills to engage across teams and disciplines
• PE licensed is a plus
