Child Development Assistant Job Description

Child Development Assistant‑School Age positions are entry‑level and work with Discovery Club. Please provide information and documentation with your application that demonstrates relevant experience and/or education for this position. Preferences include (but are not required):

• Proof of Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC);
• Higher education that includes completion of college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) desirable;
• Completion of 6 ECE units desirable. (If providing transcripts with application, they must be OFFICIAL transcripts. If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency…)
• Previous experience working with school‑age children ages 5‑12.
