Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

Corin is looking to hire a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant to join our distribution team in Cirencester on a full-time permanent basis. This role will allow you to gain exposure across the logistics team from receipting in goods in, to picking and packig final products to be shipped across the world!

This is an onsite role in Cirencester, Gloucestershire for the double day shift (earlies one week and lates the following week) where you will be starting as an Assistant level and have the opportunity to work through our skills matrix programme and progress within the team.

The key responsibilities of the Warehouse and Logistics Assistant are to:

• Be trained and developed into a Warehouse and Logistics Associate role gaining skills in goods inwards, logistics and warehousing.
• Learn and develop the appropriate warehouse and logistics skills required to meet the procedural specifications and standards EG) shrink wrap, pick, pack, and book in
• Become accountable and effective within the warehouse and logistics team.
• Work and adhere to Corin’s health & safety procedures and processes, as well as conform with legislative requirements including COSHH and manual handling.
• Adopt a strong awareness of health and safety by monitoring and reporting any areas of risk, by recording all “near misses” on Mestec.
• Demonstrate and provide evidence of completed training.
• Complete and utilise GDocP training.
• Understand and implement the 5’s principles (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardise and Sustain) ensuring adherence on a daily basis.
• Adhere to all work instructions, general visual aids, and standard operating procedures.
• Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as deemed mandatory by the business.
• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO
  13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA
  21 CFR Part 820.

The ideal Warehouse and Logistics Assistant will have/ be.

• A basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and PC basic skills
• Ability to lift heavy material and have knowledge of good manual handling practices.
• Able to follow quality standards.
• Reliable and committed.
• Happy to work on shifts.
• A team player with good communication skills.
