• Act as a lead pre-sales architect for infrastructure modernisation and hybrid IT transformation projects.
• Collaborate with account managers to qualify customer requirements and craft technically robust solutions.
• Design end-to-end infrastructure strategies across data centre, cloud, and networking domains.
• Engage with customers and partners in technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and presentations.
• Oversee solution governance, ensuring all deliverables meet customer and internal standards.
• Maintain technical certification across partner technologies and contribute to internal education initiatives.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, helping to elevate technical capability across the business.

• 5+ years' experience in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role focused on infrastructure or data centre transformation.
• Expertise in hybrid IT environments and technologies from vendors such as HPE, Dell, IBM, Net App, and VMware.
• Deep understanding of configuration tools, infrastructure sizing, and technical design principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience in technologies such as:
• VMware vSphere/Cloud Foundation
• Public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Linux, containerisation, orchestration tools (e.g., Apstra)
• Familiarity with data protection, disaster recovery, and IT service management practices.
• Demonstrable ability to lead technical initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.
• Ideally certified in vendor technologies (e.g., HPE ASE/Master ASE, Networking certifications from Aruba, Juniper, Cisco).
