Systems & Data Developer

We’re now looking for a Systems & Data Developer to take ownership of our SQL Server environment, data pipelines, and internal systems—while also helping shape our next‑generation AI chat capabilities.

• Designing and maintaining SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views and ETL processes.
• Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimising database performance and enhancing reporting outputs.
• Supporting the development of internal and customer‑facing AI chat functionality.

• Investigating and resolving data quality, performance and system issues.
• Supporting .NET‑based applications (basic debugging).
• Working with third‑party platforms and integrations.

• Setting up laptops, accounts, permissions and system access.
• Assisting with configuration, patching and general maintenance.

• Supporting access control, data protection and security standards.
• Contributing to Cyber Essentials compliance.
• Maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Background in a technical role such as Database Developer or Data Analyst.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve data/system issues.
• Experience providing IT or systems support.
• Understanding of data security and access control.
• Familiarity with .NET applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communication with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Power BI or similar BI tools.
• SSIS or other ETL tools.
• Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, vue.js, Node.
• Azure or cloud data platforms.
• Experience in an SME environment.
