Clinical/Outpatient Dietitian – Part Time (24hrs/week)
Ohio Health invites you to join our team as a Clinical/Outpatient Dietitian for a part-time position, working 24 hours per week.

Job Description SummaryAssesses and identifies nutrition-related risks, needs, and problems; develops personalized plans. Works primarily with patients, employees/employers, and community members to facilitate behavior change and prevent disease.
Responsibilities and Duties- Program Development (60%):
Design and implement nutrition programs based on medical records, patient interviews, and collaboration with medical staff. Keep current with research and integrate findings into services. - Preventive Care (20%):
Provide education, skill development, and positive attitude promotion. Deliver individual nutrition counseling for abnormal nutrition concerns. - Individual Consultations (10%):
Conduct screenings, assess dietary data, identify goals, and develop personalized plans. Promote self‑monitoring and evaluate outcomes. - Case Management & Collaboration (10%):
Participate in patient case management and interdepartmental meetings. Maintain current knowledge of clinical and community dietetics through literature, education, and policy updates.
Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics (Required). Licensure:
Ohio Board of Dietetics (OBDL), Ohio Limited Permit (OLP), or Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
BS or BA from an accredited program;
Registered Dietitian with Ohio Board licensure. Knowledge of behavioral science and behavioral change principles. Experience in weight, lipid, blood pressure, and diabetes management. Ability to calculate caloric intake, protein needs, BMI, etc. Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills. Minimum one year of experience in individual nutrition counseling, group instruction, and exercise, nutrition, smoking, and stress management practices.
Day shift, 24 scheduled weekly hours.
