Job Overview

Under general direction, this position performs supply and inventory control functions primarily to include monitoring usage of all supplies, PAR level establishment and maintenance, calculation order quantities, submitting orders, processing credits and adjustments, receiving, storing, dispensing materials, and maintaining order in, and ensuring cleanliness of all storage locations. This position coordinates daily supply activities with management, Specialty Leaders and operating room.

Job Responsibilities
  • Adjust par level minimums/maximums for assigned areas to maintain proper inventory levels; remove obsolete products and keep handheld units updated.
  • Assist with product conversions and onboarding of new products into the system.
  • Coordinate with vendors to return outdated or obsolete items for credit.
  • Help manage supply budgets by keeping inventory levels appropriate for department needs while minimizing excess.
  • Identify and resolve inventory issues such as backorders, substitute product needs, and system inconsistencies.
  • Perform inventory management tasks including accurate ordering, proper storage, checking for outdates, rotating stock, and ensuring supplies are reordered as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and well‑labeled supply area.
