Summary Description

An Inventory Controls team member is responsible for counting and monitoring product inventories at our warehouse to ensure materials align with the declared lists and documents. Responsibilities include conducting reviews and assessments, utilizing special software to evaluate product inventories, measuring, and weighing products, maintaining records, opening and re-packaging shipments, organizing products according to protocols, locating lost goods and reporting inconsistent or damaged goods.

The role may also develop and recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures, aid current staff, and participate in maintaining work area efficiencies.

What will your day look like
  • Perform counts as determined and provided from our WMS system as well as any additional counts that may be required.
  • Assist other departments in material movements, count verification, etc. as requested.
  • Ensure all inventory locations are 100% accurate regarding SKU piece count, location, etc. before leaving the area.
  • Accurately report physical inventory to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Facilitate movements between Logistics and EMS to ensure proper disposal methods take place.
  • Safely operate a hand jack for material movements and a task support vehicle (Joey).
  • Follow aging inventory disposition with cross‑functional teams.
  • Follow FDS protocol for all lot‑controlled and age‑sensitive items.
  • Process and restock customer returns.
  • Process and deliver goods in the warehouse.
What will you bring to the table
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Inventory experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Strong investigative and deductive skills.
  • Willingness to operate heavy equipment.
  • General understanding of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
