What You’ll Get to DoThe Driver Class B is focused on the handling, loading/unloading of product, securing the load, making multiple deliveries, and providing excellent customer service and reports to the Branch Operations Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who is safety‑minded, organized, and has good customer relations skills. A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post‑trip inspections
- Maintain truck and driving records by reporting information, completing driver logs, and truck performance forms
- Comply with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- At least 21 years old with two (2) years of verifiable, accident‑free driving experience, or completion of a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck‑driving school
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Valid Class B license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate of physical qualification
