Equipment Cleaning Technician

Overview

Equipment Cleaning Technician at Highway Transport Logistics, Inc. The role involves performing all aspects of tank trailer and ISO cleaning, including inspecting the trailer for residual product and post-cleaning inspection of the interior/exterior of the trailer.

Location: 7800 Foundation Dr. Florence, KY 41042

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Hourly Pay: $21.97 - $27.53

• Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISO units, including vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment to be cleaned per normal tank cleaning procedures.
• Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment for confined space rescue.
• Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operate facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
• Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all HTC Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Policy and Programs.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations.
• Comply with all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Comply with all applicable state and local environmental regulations.

• 1-2 years relevant experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) chemical information
• Ability to operate yard truck to move equipment
• Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business-related software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Mechanical ability and inclination

• Normal environment is outdoors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 to 100 lbs.
• Confined space entry is required.
• Must wear proper PPE.
