CDL Delivery Specialist

The purpose of the Delivery Specialist is to safely deliver products to Kurita America customers while adhering to Kurita America and DOT regulations regarding hazmat shipping and handling. The role requires maintaining an on-time shipment rate of 95% or higher.

Compensation: $28-30/hr

Regional Travel: 80-100% (2-3 overnights per week), with approximately 60% of travel being local.

• Deliver products to customers using a consistent, standardized method.
• Perform job functions in a manner that exceeds customer expectations.
• Understand the hazards associated with chemicals handled and perform duties safely for yourself, others, and the environment.
• Coordinate effectively with Logistics Planners to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routes.
• Ensure all tanks delivered are properly labeled with serial numbers matching paperwork.
• Conduct pre-trip and during-trip truck inspections; report mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain unloading equipment and tools in proper working order; report issues promptly.
• Keep the interior of the truck clean and organized.
• Maintain a professional appearance of the truck exterior.
• Ensure onboard electronic logs are functioning and used throughout the trip; report issues promptly.
• Follow Kurita America work rules and disciplinary policies.
• Assist the Fleet Manager and take direction as needed.
• Be a collaborative and valued team member.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsements.
• Met or exceeded all requirements of the Kurita America Delivery Fleet Certification Process in at least one delivery service type (Bulk, Drum, or Tote).

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle, maintaining a valid MVR and not disqualified from driving such vehicles.
