Group Exercise Instructor – Water Fitness (Gamble Nippert)

Base pay: $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Starting salary: $14.33/hr.

• Prepare for and instruct group water exercise classes.
• Clean up area and return materials after class.
• Understand the needs and goals of participants and provide them with a positive, enjoyable environment to achieve their fitness goals.
• Provide a quality group exercise class format at the proper intensity level.
• Respect the individual goals, needs and perspectives of each member.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in and dedication to improving the health and fitness of clients.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certification prior to hire, maintain current certifications during employment, and obtain an audition score equal to or greater than an average of 3 (pass).
• YUSA Healthy Lifestyles Principal certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
• YUSA Foundations of Group Exercise or YUSA YASA / lifeguard and YUSA water fitness instructor certification must be obtained within nine months of employment.
