Vaco is partnering with a well-established and highly reputable organization in downtown Cincinnati to hire on several experienced SQA Test Automation Engineers
. These are fully onsite within a stable, team-oriented environment that values long-term commitment and consistency.
This role works closely with leadership and senior automation engineers to help define, implement, and continuously enhance the test automation framework. The position plays a key role in ensuring quality, scalability, and sustainability across both UI and API test automation initiatives.

- This is a 100% onsite role in downtown Cincinnati (45202)

- Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for both UI and API testing
- Support automation framework design and help drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions using tools such as:
- Selenium
- JUnit/TestNG
- Git
- Maven
- IntelliJ
- Write automation code using programming languages such as Java, C#, or .NET
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, quality standards, and overall automation maturity
- Contribute to automation standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Development, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams
- Provide guidance and support to junior automation engineers
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Software Test Engineering utilizing the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- 3+ years of experience working with test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Git or similar)
- 2+ years of programming experience in Java, C#, or .NET
- 2+ years of hands‑on API testing experience (Ready
API/SOAPUI preferred; Postman acceptable) - 1+ year of database testing experience using SQL (data retrieval and/or test data setup)
