Selenium Automation Tester

Vaco is partnering with a well-established and highly reputable organization in downtown Cincinnati to hire on several experienced SQA Test Automation Engineers. These are fully onsite within a stable, team-oriented environment that values long-term commitment and consistency.

This role works closely with leadership and senior automation engineers to help define, implement, and continuously enhance the test automation framework. The position plays a key role in ensuring quality, scalability, and sustainability across both UI and API test automation initiatives.

• Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for both UI and API testing
• Support automation framework design and help drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions using tools such as:
  • Selenium
  • JUnit/TestNG
  • Git
  • Maven
  • IntelliJ
• Write automation code using programming languages such as Java, C#, or .NET
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, quality standards, and overall automation maturity
• Contribute to automation standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Development, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams
• Provide guidance and support to junior automation engineers

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Test Engineering utilizing the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• 3+ years of experience working with test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Git or similar)
• 2+ years of programming experience in Java, C#, or .NET
• 2+ years of hands-on API testing experience (Ready
  
  API/SOAPUI preferred; Postman acceptable)
• 1+ year of database testing experience using SQL (data retrieval and/or test data setup)
