Java Backend Services Developer III

Overview

A large financial organization is seeking a Java Backend Services Developer III for a contract role that will sit hybrid onsite in Cincinnati or remote. We are in search of an engineer who excels not only in technical proficiency but also as a proactive problem-solver, critical thinker, and active participant in development as well as architecture. This role is tailored for a dynamic individual who is a seasoned engineer and also has a strong grasp on application architecture who can help drive innovative solutions, engage actively in project planning, and significantly contribute to our implementation processes.

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• Recent experience with Java 17 or newer
• 4+ years of experience with Spring framework
• 2+ years of experience building containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with building highly scalable APIs and Microservices
• Experience deploying to Open Shift
