V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Data Engineer I to support our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio.

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
• Collaborate with data architects, IT team, and data scientists on project goals.
• Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability and quality.

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MySQL, No
  
  SQL, Hadoop, Mongo
  
  DB).
• Experience programming and/or architecting a backend language (Java, J2EE).
• Must-have technical skill sets in priority order:
  Snowflake
  , Dbt
  , SQL
  , ETL/ELT Development
  , CI/CD
  , Data Stage
  .
• Nice-to-have:
  AWS / Azure / GCP
  , Python & Shell scripting
  , Data Validation Frameworks
  , Metadata Management
  , REST / SOAP APIs

  .
