Pay Range: $30/hr - $36/hr

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Contract Length: 12 months

This role focuses on designing and building scalable data systems, ensuring data platforms meet business needs, and identifying opportunities to improve data usage. A solid understanding of data engineering, data mining, and algorithms is essential.

Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new business and technical domains. A minimum of three years of hands‑on technical experience is preferred.

• Snowflake for modern data warehousing
• dbt for SQL-based transformations, testing, and documentation
• Data Stage for legacy ETL support during migration
• Advanced SQL development and optimization
• ETL/ELT pipeline design, orchestration, and maintenance
• CI/CD using Git-based workflows

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Python and Shell scripting
• Data modeling (normalized and dimensional)
• Data validation frameworks (dbt tests, Great Expectations)
• Metadata management and lineage tracking
• REST/SOAP API integration

• Design, build, test, and maintain data systems and pipelines
• Develop algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes
• Ensure systems align with business requirements and industry standards
• Integrate new data and engineering technologies
• Establish processes for data mining, modeling, and production
• Build custom components and analytics applications
• Identify new ways to leverage existing data assets
• Connect and optimize systems using various programming tools
• Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists
• Maintain disaster recovery procedures
• Recommend improvements to data quality and reliability

• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MySQL, No

• Experience programming or architecting backend systems (e.g., Java, J2EE)
