Senior Software Engineer

At Direc Funds, our engineers build cutting-edge embedded software solutions that enhance security across all industries and payment types. We’re looking for developers who bring a strong foundation in .NET and experience with modern web technologies—such as relational databases, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design. Familiarity with an API-first approach is a plus. As a small, agile team, we value self-motivated engineers who can prioritize effectively and communicate clearly.

• Participate in technical requirements gathering.
• Participate in the creation and refinement of user stories.
• Complete user stories as assigned using the .NET programming language.
• Work collaboratively with the team reviewing pull requests of other team members.
• Work on our CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions.
• Contribute to design of new applications and features using best practices.
• Share your knowledge and learn from others to help build a stronger team.
• Other related duties as assigned by your manager.

• 5+ years of experience developing software using .NET. With at least 2 years of experience using .NET 6 or a later version.
• Experience with designing and using relational databases. Postgres SQL preferred.
• Experience with designing and using a RESTful approach to building APIs.
• Experience using containerization technologies. Docker preferred.
• Experience with event driven architecture and working with asynchronous workloads.
• Experience integrating with external vendor software or building B2B integrations.
• Experience with developing applications in the Azure environment. Azure certifications a plus but not required.
• Experience with networking, routing and switching, is a plus.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfortable speaking to business partners
