General Statement of Duties
Implements activities either by providing direct service or by supervising those implementing recreation activities. May assist in planning and promotion of the tennis program or be responsible for the development, planning, and implementation. Will use tennis skills as needed to implement the program. A high energy level and enthusiasm for the program activities are necessary.
Must demonstrate an ability to lead participants in the tennis program, be willing to take direction from supervisors and managers, monitor participant safety throughout the program, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be 14‑17 years of age and assist with the care, proper use, and storage of all equipment and supplies.
Minimum Qualifications (KSAs)Youth 14 to 18 years of age meeting City residency and household income guidelines.
Must have a valid work permit (14 and 15 years old) or parental consent (16 and 17 years old), complete the application and submit supplemental parental forms, and attend a 20‑hour orientation/training session.
