We are partnering with our client to identify a Maintenance Technician/Carpenter in Cincinnati, Ohio for an immediate hire. High-quality standards are a must. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a positive attitude. Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

This position constructs and repairs walls, ceilings, flooring, and doors in commercial and industrial establishments.

• Frame metal stud or wood framing –
  10%
• Hang and finish drywall in preparation for finishes –
  10%
• Erect acoustical ceiling grid and install acoustical ceiling panels –
  10%
• Install wood and hollow metal frames and doors, including associated hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices –
  10%
• Install cabinets, casework, and countertops –
  10%
• Install prefabricated windows and frames –
  10%
• Install vinyl composition tile flooring and carpet tile –
  10%
• Install window shades and blinds – 5%
• Assemble and install specialty items such as lockers, benches, toilet accessories, and partitions –
  10%
• Install wood trim including base, crown molding, chair rail, and door trim –
  10%
• Install commercial modular furniture systems – 5%

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Business
  
  Experience:
  
  4–6 years of related experience
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic addition and subtraction for measuring and cutting materials
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally in occupied environments with a variety of customers
