Maintenance Technician

Opus Communities in Cincinnati, OH is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician. This maintenance tech position earns a starting competitive wage of $23–26/hour, depending on experience.

As a Maintenance Technician, you play an essential role in keeping our units in order and performing duties as requested by our residents. You arrive each day and perform routine and preventive maintenance, identifying issues and performing tasks such as general maintenance, HVAC, AC troubleshooting, and other related activities. You close out work orders upon completion. When units become vacant, you conduct inspections and help prepare them for occupancy.

No matter what task comes your way, you successfully complete it while following safety guidelines and procedures.

• 2+ years of experience in the apartment maintenance field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to climb ladders
• Painting skills
• Forklift operation

This full‑time position typically works 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in addition to on‑call hours. All tools will be provided.
