Whatwill your day look like?
As a Facilities Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving our facilities. Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems (up to 480V, including 3‑phase).
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS for work orders and equipment history.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for complex projects.
- Senior/Lead Levels:
Serve as a technical resource, lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate work priorities, and mentor junior technicians.
What will you bring to the table?
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred.
- Experience ranges:
- Technician II: 3–5 years
- Sr. Technician: 5+ years
- Lead: 5+ years with advanced technical skills and leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems (up to 480V).
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Preferred certifications: EPA 608, OSHA 10/30, Journeyman Electrician.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring stooping, reaching, standing, and walking.
