Lighting Technician

Job Summary

Base Wage $20-30/hr occasional Prevailing Wage work (up to $55/hr). Per diem. Schedule traveling for 10 days (2 paid travel days + 8 working days) and 4 days off. Hotels paid for by FSG. Employee will be based out of Cincinnati or surrounding areas.

This is a traveling position.

• Comply with FSG safety policies.
• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
• Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.
• Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must be reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service skills.
