Julius C Howe Asphalt Sealing Co is looking for hardworking and motivated Seal Crew Laborers to join our team. This role involves working on residential and commercial asphalt sealing projects, preparing surfaces, applying sealcoat, and ensuring top-quality results for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing asphalt surfaces for sealing, including cleaning and edging.
- Apply sealcoat evenly using hand tools and spray equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Work efficiently in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety.
- Follow instructions from the crew lead and work as a team to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Previous experience in asphalt sealing is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long hours, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to wear necessary protective gear (provided).
Competitive Pay: $17-$20/hour with weekly pay.
