Service Technician Diesel Technician -Mobile Diagnostics

Description

The primary function of the Mobile Service Technician is to diagnose and complete repairs on heavy and medium‑duty trucks, not in a shop setting. The mobile technician will do maintenance and repair jobs at our customer locations. This is not Road Side Work. The tasks will include updates, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, batteries, part replacement, brakes, and air conditioning repairs.

• Perform recommended routine maintenance procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests for issues, failures, and performance.
• Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
• Routinely use computerized equipment and specialized tooling.
• Complete assigned repairs and tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Accurately record time, cause, and correction on repair orders.
• Test components that may require to drive trucks before and after repairs.
• Participate in and complete technical training and professional development.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer skills and repair order processing software.

Position requires the ability to operate motor vehicles and maintain a safe driving record. A Current Commercial Driver's License is preferred but not required.
