Ohio’s leader in Commercial Food Equipment Service and Repair is seeking people interested in learning exceptional technical & customer service skills for 6 months as an Apprentice
Service Technician. The Apprentice Program is offered at all three of our CPS (Commercial Parts & Service) locations in Ohio – Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton. Prior experience in food equipment service or repair is not required. Learn new skills to start a new career with CPS.

Things you will learn:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial refrigeration and/or cooking equipment individually or with a team of technicians
• Performing inspections and diagnosis for proactive maintenance on commercial food service equipment to ensure equipment is healthy and runs properly
• Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics
• Providing assistance with estimates for repair or replacement of equipment
• Assisting customers in making informed repair / replace decisions with creativity and integrity
• Completing written work orders to describe and document equipment issues and the service solution delivered
• Promoting a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures

Things you already know or have:

• MUST have a valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal
• Enjoy repairing things, making them work better
• Hands‑on learner
• Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to climb and work from a ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and grasp to perform essential job functions
