Job Description SummaryResponsible to assist with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.
Job Description- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop and grounds equipment, and HVAC.
- Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and implement savings opportunities.
- Demonstrate competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems (fire alarm, fire pumps, and related equipment).
- Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations and safe work habits.
- Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, and building automation systems.
- Complete all required C&W Safety Training annually.
- Follow the C&W Uniform Dress Code and maintain a neat and clean appearance during working hours.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
- Technical, vocational, or on‑the‑job training in at least one area: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
- Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work extended shifts, overtime, shift work, and on‑call duties as required.
This role operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment. Physical demands include communication, computer use, and occasional manual handling of maintenance tasks.
CompensationHourly rate: $23.80 - $28.00.
