Concrete Worker

The Concrete Worker supports various construction projects by performing tasks related to forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in physically demanding environments, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient worksite.

• Prepare work areas by setting forms, installing rebar, and ensuring proper grade and elevation.
• Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, walls, and other structures.
• Operate a variety of concrete tools and equipment such as screeds, trowels, floats, vibrators, and saws.
• Monitor the curing process and apply proper techniques to achieve desired strength and finish.
• Assist with demolition, site prep, and material handling as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, specifications, and project timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in clean, safe condition.
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to support completion of daily tasks.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Recognize safety hazards and communicate them to the project team; participate in correcting issues under direction.
• Attend safety training and complete required certifications.
• Display MV core values and conduct daily work with professionalism and integrity.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support field operations.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.

• 4+ years of prior experience with concrete work is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, tools, and finishing techniques.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
