Zimmer Heating & Cooling is looking for a seasoned and driven Install Mechanic to join our Field Operations team. This is a hands‑on opportunity for a skilled HVAC professional to work on high‑end residential and light commercial projects—from forced air systems to geothermal installations. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, is capable of custom sheet metal work, and is well‑versed in plumbing and electrical codes.

- Perform high‑quality installation of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings
- Fabricate and install custom sheet metal ductwork using 3x8 sheets
- Install forced air systems, oil furnaces, duct‑free systems, and geothermal units
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with all electrical and plumbing codes
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, homeowners, and team members
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean job site
- 10+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- EPA Certification preferred
- NATE Certification preferred
- Strong skills in custom sheet metal fabrication
- Solid understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
