• Carries out preventive maintenance programs for all material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation and maximize useful life of the equipment.
• Reviews daily Preventive Maintenance Check Forms completed by warehouse associates and makes general equipment repairs.
• Identifies existing or potential building and equipment issues and makes recommendations to Property and Maintenance Manager.
• Performs general maintenance and repairs of building and facilities which may include cosmetic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work.
• Maintains logs and documentation on maintenance and repairs.
• Complies with OSHA and other appropriate standards.

• 3-5 years previous maintenance mechanic experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work 3rd shift
• Basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, mechanical and electrical experience required
• Previous experience reading and interpreting documents such as technical instructions, manuals, operating and maintenance instructions required
• Provide own hand tools and toolbox.
