As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site in Cincinnati, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly during incidents, and document observations with accurate reports.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations based on site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and support patient privacy practices in accordance with facility guidelines.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
