Security Officer

Overview

Under the direction of Security Department supervisors and managers, incumbent provides basic security coverage ensuring adequate protection for patrons and team members. Safeguards assets and promotes a friendly, guest‑oriented demeanor at all times.

• Ensure proper security for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas.
• Assist patrons with inquiries, provide information, give directions, and escort when necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident reports clearly and precisely.
• Patrol the hotel and casino areas to establish a security presence and report unusual situations or suspicious persons.
• Assist in the coordination and resolution of emergency situations.
• Maintain proper key control.
• Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by notifying appropriate managers of concerns.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of guest service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous casino/hotel security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work in a hectic, fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy environment, potentially exposed to second hand smoke and other casino factors.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.

• Position is full time.
• Hourly rate: $18.
• Must be able to work weekends with off days during the week.
• Must be able to obtain Ohio casino gaming license.
• All shifts available:
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Grave Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
