Global Account Representative, Automotive & Manufacturing

Job  | Amazon Web Services, Inc.

AWS is seeking a motivated sales professional to support and grow a strategic customer relationship with one of our large global Industrial & Manufacturing customers. You will contribute to executing an account strategy, engage with the broader account team, and help drive AWS solution adoption across key customer stakeholders.

The Global Account Representative (GAR) will work closely with the account team to build relationships, support the articulation of AWS value, and help deliver business outcomes for the customer. The successful GAR will execute against a defined account strategy to earn customer trust and support AWS solution and service adoption across the customer's IT/Digital, Line of Business (LoB), and Operations teams.

The GAR will collaborate with AWS resources (Solution Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, Industry Specialists, Marketing, Partners, Support, and Service Teams) to help deliver customer outcomes. This is an Individual Contributor role focused on pipeline development, opportunity execution, and customer engagement within a defined account scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal AWS teams — including solution architects, industry specialists, partners, and enterprise support — to deliver the best solutions for customers. Support business reviews, customer relationship plans, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate professionally via email, phone, and in‑person meetings; prepare and deliver customer‑facing presentations and business review materials.
  • Manage an assigned sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking opportunity progress and facilitating key deal stages with account team support. Participate in negotiating and closing commercial agreements, including Private Pricing Addendums (PPAs), under senior leadership guidance.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of AWS solutions and services, connecting customer business challenges to relevant AWS capabilities. Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to inform product and solution requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the account team to develop customer references, case studies, and success stories.
