Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

Depco is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team! Depco is one of the regions highly touted Manufacturer’s Rep agencies, with a manin focus on the Industrial Electronics and Controls markets. As an Outside Sales Rep with Depco, you are tasked with prospecting for new customers, cross marketing to our current customer base, answering customer questions and offering product solutions for everyday manufacturing hurdles.

The territory coverage required is Southern OH, IN, WV and the state of Kentucky.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell the industrial manufacturing-based products we represent, to new and existing customers, through direct and distribution sales channels.
• Set up in person appointments with current customers to cross market other products and keep customers aware of latest product developments. Weekly regional travel expected.
• Prospect and identify new potential customers.
• Travel with Sales Managers from our Industrial Partners throughout the year, scheduling and taking them on sales calls.
• Reach agreed upon sales targets.
• Provide customer centric assistance for inquiries or complaints.
• Manage all sales channels within the appointed territory.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Outside Sales or Industrial Manufacturing
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and sales reporting
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Adaptable
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Highly Self Sufficient
