Position Overview
At Exact Sciences, we are cancer fighters united by a mission to change lives by providing earlier, smarter answers. A Screening Solutions Specialist (SSS) is a front-line role in the fight against cancer. The SSS will drive product growth of Cologuard in medical practices to meet sales goals within the assigned geography and deliver diagnostic solutions by establishing the importance of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening.
This role aims to enhance customer relationships to drive growth and revenue while improving the care system and patient outcomes through integration of Exact Sciences solutions. This position is field based.
Essential DutiesInclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscape to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes through integration of Exact Sciences solutions.
- Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care to identify account opportunities and work with healthcare professionals to improve clinical decision making and patient and population health outcomes.
- Build a network of relationships within accounts to gain insight into unmet needs, including clinicians and administrators, and capture information on customer interactions using the CRM database, including point of contact information, sales activity, market intelligence, and other data points.
- Synthesize data from formal and informal sources to understand the evolving local care system, leveraging tools such as Engage (CRM), Excel, Tableau, and research to make data-driven decisions on account potential and opportunities, and work across the Market team.
- Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and awareness of the Company s products and maximize sales growth.
- Create plans to drive acceptance of Cologuard and other Exact Sciences solutions to enhance clinical decision making and system effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation of these plans with customer-specific pre- and post-call engagement approaches, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Screening Advocate, Medical Affairs, Marketing).
- Educate target physician and stakeholder groups about Exact Sciences products and value propositions to enable informed treatment decisions and highlight screening importance, drawing on approved clinical studies and marketing aids.
- Proactively drive growth by focusing on customers with highest potential and initiating connections to uncover unmet needs and opportunities.
- Seek regular feedback from customers about their experience, service, satisfaction, and perceived value of working with Exact Sciences.
- Lead the successful implementation of account plans through collaboration with key internal stakeholders to develop strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, improve patient outcomes, and create business opportunities for Exact Sciences.
- Ensure execution of targeted tactics to meet business goals in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders (Account Managers, Area Manager, Marketing, Sales Operations, Internal Sales Support).
- Communicate customer needs and opportunities clearly to internal stakeholders to mobilize resources and shape solutions for current and future needs.
- Uphold high ethical and professional standards in line with Exact Sciences guidelines, regulatory requirements, and the company mission and values of accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
