We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Virtual Sales Specialist. This opportunity is part of our Deployment Solutions team, which partners with top‑tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to provide better, smarter, faster solutions for the industry.
OverviewUnder moderate supervision, the Virtual Sales Specialist is responsible for providing outbound marketing, disease state identification and education, and inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical environment. Customers include physicians, healthcare providers, and healthcare clinic personnel. The VSS implements the client’s marketing plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers. In the assigned territory, the VSS plans and organizes activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.
Administration of territory information and compliance to reporting and regulatory requirements is imperative.
- Execute client‑directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to HCPs and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.
- BA/BS degree minimum required.
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a history of documented success.
- Expert selling skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in a high‑pressure and fast‑paced environment.
- Strong preference for 1+ years of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience.
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts, with the ability to quickly learn and convey complex product information to healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.
