SUMMARY

Camfil is looking to hire a hybrid Tele-Prospector for our growing Sales team. Tele-prospectors are responsible for contacting segment/lead lists with the intent to set quality sales call appointments for Camfil Branch Territory Sales Managers (TSM’s) in Branches and geographies as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Tele-Qualify regional and national lists as provided from time to time for select segments or industries where Group Purchasing or National Account agreements have been entered.
  • Tele-Qualify lead lists as provided from various marketing programs including direct and e-mail campaigns, trade shows, website SEO, trade association meetings, Summit events, etc.
  • Utilize Camfil CRM system and other productivity software for proper capture of all data and to continually improve efficiency and success rate with key metrics being calls per day, contact success rate, appointments set as a percentage of total attempts/dials, percent of appointments resulting in a quotation, and percentage of appointments that lead to a sale and total sale value per year.

  • li>Will work to develop and continually improve scripts for target segments, products and messages.
  • Develop reasonable and acceptable knowledge of the products, applications and competitors offerings to properly and professionally represent the Camfil brand and overcome obstacles that inhibit metric improvements.
  • Research and create target prospect lists via internet and other tools provided by Camfil, when required, to ensure continual activity.
  • Participate in select local, regional and national company training events as required from time to time.
  • Learn the intricacies of the Camfil US sales channels (direct and independent agents) including by aftermarket/fore market and by territory responsibility.
  • Develop good communication protocol with Camfil field sales management teams and our independent Distributors and Representatives as required.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good verbal skills, language skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and internet.
  • Comfortable, friendly and professional on the phone.
  • Team-oriented, ambitious individual who works well in fast-paced environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
