Job Description Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards. • Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome.
• Answer product questions and provide recommendations, including specials.
• Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise, ensuring freshness.
• Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with advertising.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations, including temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and report accidents or risks.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

Desired

• Any retail experience.
• Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
