We are seeking a Café Associate – Prep Cook / Driver to support daily food preparation while also assisting with delivery and transport of food, supplies, and equipment between café and company locations.

In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in both the kitchen and on the road—helping ensure our guests receive fresh, high-quality meals while supporting smooth café operations.

• Prepare hot and cold food items according to daily menus, portion guidelines, and company recipes
• Cook, season, and present food with consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
• Assist with food prep, meal setup, breakdown, and cleaning before and after service periods
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen including prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards at all times
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and supplies
• Work collaboratively with café team members to ensure efficient meal service

• Safely transport prepared food, ingredients, and supplies between café locations, commissaries, or client sites as assigned
• Load, unload, and secure food and supplies to prevent damage or contamination
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations (if applicable), and traffic laws
• Complete delivery logs, temperature checks, and required documentation
• Represent Five Star Breaktime Solutions professionally when interacting with clients and customers

• Prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 35 pounds or more regularly and perform frequent bending, reaching, standing, and driving
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and consistent quality
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
