Job Description

The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing thedining room operations in a senior living community, ensuring that meals areserved in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The supervisor will manage a team of servers, ensure that thedining area is clean and organized, and monitor inventory levels.

• Manage and supervise dining room staff, ensuring that they are trained and adhere to policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring that orders are placed in a timely manner
• Ensure that the dining room is clean and organized, and that tables are set up properly
• Ensure that meals areserved on time, and that food is of high quality
• Greet residents andguests, and ensure that they have an enjoyable dining experience
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and special events
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the maintenance team
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following sanitation and safety procedures
• Attend meetings andtrainings as required

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a dining room or restaurant setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Basic computer skills,including Microsoft Office and email
• Ability to lift up to50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Serv Safe certification preferred
