- BS/BA in a Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance for the pharmaceutical or medical device industries
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and good interpersonal skills
- Familiar with plates and laboratory techniques
- Ability to adapt to change and handle unexpected situations with close guidance
- Accepts direction on how to adapt approach to changing situations
- Ability to follow defined procedures
- Ability to stay focused on tasks, organize, compare, interpret basic data, and assess problems with guidance
- Work to acquire and develop new skills
- Ability to collaborate and maintain cooperative work relationships with others

- Performs everyday laboratory requirements which include cleaning, maintenance, ordering of supplies, and maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed for all microbiological testing
- Schedules and Tracks Calibration and Metrology Activities
- Executes environmental monitoring of clean rooms and utility systems using a variety of testing tools and measuring equipment (HVAC and CDA)
- Executes endotoxin lab testing for finished product
