Qualifications
  • BS/BA in a Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance for the pharmaceutical or medical device industries

  • Familiar with plates and laboratory techniques
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle unexpected situations with close guidance

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 lbs.

  • Position requires being physically present on the premises during regular company hours or as approved by management
Responsibilities
  • General laboratory activities including but not limited to, sample receipt, inventory control, testing, equipment and instrument operation/maintenance
  • Performs everyday laboratory requirements which include cleaning, maintenance, ordering of supplies, and maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed for all microbiological testing
  • Schedules and Tracks Calibration and Metrology Activities
  • Executes environmental monitoring of clean rooms and utility systems using a variety of testing tools and measuring equipment (HVAC and CDA)
  • Executes endotoxin lab testing for finished product
